There are miracles, big and small, happening all around us. I’ve experienced them myself and strive to share even a small piece of that hope with others through kindness and care.

I’ll never forget the day I stood at the grocery store checkout, counting bags of quarters that I had just picked up from my vending machines to pay for my daughter’s medicine. It was a stark contrast from where I’d been just a few months before. I ran one of the top restaurants in town but sold it because the success came with a cost: less time with my family. I started picking up odd jobs to get by. That day, I had been helping paint a home when my wife called and told me my daughter was sick and needed medicine.

In between money, I had to run around town collecting the quarters from my vending machines. The total came to $92.36. As the cashier and I counted out bags of quarters, I realized I only had $91.25. Then I found a dime, then a penny. Just as I’m losing hope that I’ll have enough, I remember what had happened that morning. My daughter handed me a dollar and said, “Daddy, you might need this today.” That dollar made it exact, to the penny. It was a miracle.
In that moment, I felt a deep sense that I wasn’t in this alone. It was as if God was telling me, “I will never leave you, I will never forsake you, and I'm going to meet your every need.”
My faith became my anchor as I navigated an uncharted path. I had dedicated my 20s to the restaurant business, which meant working nights, weekends, and holidays, hardly seeing my family. It taught me an amazing work ethic, but family comes first, always.

However, selling the restaurant wasn’t a golden ticket. I had been an entrepreneur since I was 23 and was searching for my next venture. Money was tight and I questioned if I had made the right choice. That’s why that day at the grocery store felt like a turning point. It showed me that God had a path for me, I just needed to keep working hard and put the effort in to uncover just what he had in store.
My journey into real estate came soon after. My father had been a successful builder and developer and my mother an interior designer. I'd been around the industry my whole life and even worked for my dad’s competitor (he believed in earning my own way, no handouts) building homes over the summer in school.
My first year, I was named Rookie of the Year. I went on to hone my skills and learn every aspect of the business so I could offer a true full-service experience. I handle everything for my clients, from project managing renovations and coordinating moves to being a resourceful problem-solver. My commitment to going above and beyond, combined with ongoing learning and leadership in the industry, helped me grow my business almost entirely by referral. Through market ups and downs, I’ve stayed focused on helping people and building lasting relationships, which has led to more than 600 transactions and $220 million in sales over 26 years. But the numbers only tell part of the story.

I’ve experienced both tremendous successes and tremendous failures in life, but it is those peaks and valleys that teach us the most. People and relationships are what really count in life. I approach situations with the mentality of “What can I give?” because it is how you build a good life, surround yourself with great people who share those values.
Whether it’s offering kindness to a stranger, sharing my knowledge and resources to agents and clients, or volunteering and running fundraising efforts, I put service at the heart of everything I do. Faith is my foundation. I’m never in this alone, and know that by living generously, even if I’m down to my last dollar, God will provide everything I need.

In my free time, I love being out on the water boating, enjoying live music, and staying active biking, walking, and the occasional round of golf.
I’m passionate about building stronger communities, both within the industry and in the neighborhoods I serve. I have been on the Board of Directors for the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® and served 4 years on the Grievance Committee, helping to uphold high standards for our profession. Outside of the industry, I lead and participate in community efforts such as Toys for Tots, Harvest for Hope, and supporting local homeless shelters. Staying involved at both the industry and community level allows me to give back and stay connected, which ultimately helps me better support my clients.
My approach to real estate is simple: Live by the "Golden Rule," work hard, be thoughtful, stay humble, kind, and share your gifts with gratitude, grace, and compassion. Act with integrity, offer total transparency, and truly look out for my clients at every turn; by keeping these axioms at the core of my being, I build the foundation for successful outcomes and a great experience along the way.
I offer concierge-style service. If something needs to get done, I put my knowledge, connections, and resources to work to make sure it happens. Whether it is cleaning out a home with the help of donation centers and estate sales, overseeing renovations, or coordinating move-outs, I am hands-on and ready to provide a full range of solutions.
Trust is fundamental to a positive experience. You will always know what is happening, what your options are, and that you have an advocate and partner representing your best interests every step of the way.
I would be honored to support your journey and find your road to home.
Sincerely,

Christopher Rhodes
